I’ve got issues with ‘challenges.’ Lots of times they’re compared to the Hero’s Journey. You receive the call to action to be healthier and fitter. Your journey begins, with many ups and downs. With some guidance and determination you’re successful in your quest. You lose the 10 pounds. You run the marathon.
And then what?
The problem I’ve encountered with ‘fitness challenges’ is they focus on a short term goal. It’s about making short term sacrifices for an immediate gain. But that’s not sustainable. What we need is a challenge to fall in love with the process.
And that’s my goal with our 28 Day Holiday Fitness Challenge. Yes, it’s called a challenge, but only because it’s an easy way to describe the structure.
It’s really a foundation for healthy habits that you can use way beyond the program. We’ll be focusing on achieving three habits every day. They relate to nutrition, fitness, and sleep.
