Turmeric Ground Turkey
An easy, versatile protein that works great on its own or tossed with other dishes such as a salad or veggies.
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp cilantro (chopped )
- 2 tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- ¼ tsp cumin
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and turkey. Break the turkey into chunks with spatula or wood spoon.
- Add ¼ cup of broth, cilantro, salt, pepper, turmeric, cumin, and cayenne. Continue to break up the turkey into small pieces as you stir all ingredients together.
- Cook for 4 minutes. Add remaining ¼ cup beef broth, and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Allow to cool, then serve or store for later.
