Asian Spiced Turkey Burgers

  • 1 tbsp South Asian Spice Blend (see the recipe)
  • Lettuce wrap (optional)

South Asian Spice Blend

  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/ 2 tsp cinnamon

  1. Make the South Asian Spice Blend. Recipe yields 4 ½ tbsp but you only need 1 for this dish. Save the rest for later or another dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine turkey and South Asian Spice Blend until well mixed.
  3. Form the turkey into four 4-ounce patties, adding a thumb-print dimple in the center of each one to allow for even cooking.
  4. Grill or skillet-cook the burgers for approximately 4 minutes per side over medium-high heat or until they are cooked through with no remaining pink (internal temperature of 165°F.)
  5. Serve on lettuce wrap (optional).
